First Meeting

As the pamphlet that led you here indicates the first showing of the Classic Cinema Club will be, as part of Hitchcock Month, North by Northwest and To Catch a Thief.

Now the exact time and place are still a bit murky at this point as those of you who asked know. We hope to be able to cycle through member's houses eventually but for now my house will do. the address is 4149 Quinlin Drive, Palos Verdes Peninsula.

As for the time it will definitely be either this Friday the 2nd or Saturday the 3rd with a starting time between 4 and 6. Probably later rather than earlier. After i bring a sign-up sheet tomorrow we'll have a better idea of what everyone can manage.

Hitchcock Month

Welcome everyone to the Classic Cinema Club on the web.

If you are here, that means you are one step closer to watching all the classic movies you had so far missed out on. You just have to look at the following list and decide to show up at one or hopefully all of the various showings and you have accomplished what only a terribly small amount of people have in watching these classics.

We in the classic cinema club wish to start the schedule off on the right foot so we have officially declared October, Alfred Hitchcock Month. We will be exclusively showing movies by the unchallenged master of suspense throughout the month.

The dates are all tentatively set to Friday but can be changed to Saturday if needed. The location and time for each showing will be tentatively selected at the end of each showing and posted definitively by the following Wednesday.
